Ferrari or Kimi? Monza Faces an Interesting Dilemma

Ferrari is clearly the home team at Monza. The Italian crowd has always had a deep connection with Ferrari, and when the Scuderia is fighting for victory, the support from the Tifosi is overwhelming.

But this year is different.

Kimi Antonelli is an Italian driver racing at his home Grand Prix, and he has emerged as one of the most exciting young drivers on the grid. That gives Italian fans another reason to cheer.

So who will the crowd support if Ferrari and Kimi find themselves fighting for the win?

The answer is probably Ferrari - at least for the majority of the Tifosi. Ferrari is more than just another F1 team in Italy. It is part of the country's motorsport identity.

At the same time, Kimi represents something different. He is an Italian driver who could become a genuine F1 title contender, and his presence gives the Italian crowd someone to support independently of Ferrari.

That makes this year's Monza particularly interesting.

The ideal scenario for Italian fans would probably be a battle between Ferrari and Kimi.

Ferrari would have the Tifosi behind them.

Kimi would have the home crowd behind him.

For once, Monza could have two different shades of Italian support.

Whoever wins, Italy will be happy.
